Modern Babies and Mother Earth

With the rapid advances in society today, sometimes it is important to remember that getting back to mother Earth can be a stabilizing effect on anybody. Taking off your shoes and walking barefoot in the mud can be in an invigorating experience for both young and old. Imagine the look in your child’s eyes as you strip off your shoes and your socks and plant your feet firmly in the giant mud puddle. Your child will look at you with big wide eyes and giggle as he takes off his shoes and socks and joins you in this fun and excitement. It is a bonding moment you will never forget.

Taking a nature walk can be a calming moment when nothing else can. Getting back to mother Earth and seeing where it all began can give an adult and child a grounding that will be felt for a long time. Taking the time to look at a tree and to examine its roots and bark is also an education for your child. And taking your child out for these hands-on educational and fun nature walks will deepen the relationship between you and your child enormously.
